The Noongar Kaatdjin Bidi trail starts at the Boola Bidi Visitor Centre, next door to the Stirling Cottage and Gardens precinct. The trail crosses the Harvey river and goes under the Southwest Hwy underpass, taking in the views along the river and Noongar art and interpretive signage describing the 6 Noongar Seasons. The trail passes a lovely shady, open space where you can stop for a picnic or return the same way.
Lesley will explain how much the river has been so beautifully restored over the past 12 years with community involvement from local groups to restore the river close to its natural state.
